HEC Secretary General participates in High-Level Roundtable for Higher Education Development

Dubai, Feb. 17 (BNA): Dr. Diana Abdulkarim Al Johromi, the Higher Education Council (HEC) Secretary General, participated in High-Level Roundtable for Higher Education Development, organised by the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Education on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit, held in Dubai. 

Dr. Diana emphasised Bahrain's commitment to offering diverse and comprehensive higher education opportunities, equipping students with essential skills to meet labour market requirements and adapt to rapid development in information digitisation and internationalisation, thereby preparing them for the labour market.

The roundtable discussions focused on the future of higher education, effectively meeting learners' needs, preparing them for the labour market, and promoting critical thinking, innovation, entrepreneurship, and teamwork through curricula that develop these skills.
