SCH Chairman receives UK Ambassador

Manama, Feb. 24 (BNA): Lieutenant-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Supreme Council for Health (SCH) Chairman, received Alastair Long, the British Ambassador to Bahrain.

The SCH Chairman affirmed the depth of the long-standing friendship relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom in all fields, stressing the importance of further bolstering bilateral cooperation at all levels. He wished the envoy every success in carrying out his diplomatic duties.

The two sides discussed topics of common interest, including ways to enhance the existing partnership between both kingdoms. They also reviewed the two countries’ exchange of expertise to deliver the best health services.

Ambassador Alastair Long lauded the level reached by the two kingdoms’ relations, affirming his country’s keenness to enhance coordination with Bahrain to achieve common interests. He wished the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
