HM King receives written letter from HM King of Jordan

Manama, Feb. 26 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a written letter from His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemit Kingdom of Jordan, extending an official invitation to His Majesty to visit Jordan.

HM King Hamad accepted the invitation and expressed appreciation for it.

Rami Saleh Wreikat Al Adwan, Jordanian Ambassador and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, delivered the letter to His Majesty at Al Safriya Palace today.

During the meeting, His Majesty praised the historical and solid ties between the two kingdoms and their advanced level of cooperation at various levels.

HM King Hamad expressed his appreciation and pride in the efforts of HM King Abdullah II in consolidating Bahraini-Jordanian relations. His Majesty also commended the historical role of Jordan in safeguarding the interests of the Arab nation, preserving its gains, supporting joint Arab action, and pushing towards achieving peace and stability in the region.
