MoFA Undersecretary meets Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs

Cairo, Feb. 26 (BNA): Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, met with Dr. Mohammed Al Badri, the Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs.

The meeting discussed cooperation and strategic partnership between the two countries.

The two sides discussed Arab and international issues, foremost of which are the efforts to stop the war in the Gaza Strip, protect civilians, meet their humanitarian needs, and reject the forced displacement of the Palestinian people.

The undersecretary praised the strong longstanding Bahraini-Egyptian relations and their development in various domains.

He commended the role of Egypt in promoting joint Arab action and consolidating regional and global security and peace.

Ambassador Ahmed Al Tarifi, Chief of the Arab and African Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended the meeting.
