Transportation Minister participates in MWC 2024

Barcelona, Feb. 26 (BNA): Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, participated in the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2024).


 

The congress is held in Barcelona from February 26-28, with over 90,000 participants.


 

The congress discusses the latest innovations in communication and information technology, including modern wireless communication technology, the digital economy, and data protection, as well as cloud computing and the Internet of Things (IoT).


 

The minister highlighted Bahrain's efforts in the digital economy, including development of communications infrastructure, electronic governance, and support for digital capabilities and emerging technology in accordance with the communications, information technology and the Digital Economy Sector Strategy 2022-2026.
