Public Administration Institute launch Bahraini cadres for international participation programme

Manama, Feb. 26 (BNA): A programme to equip young Bahraini employees with skills to represent the kingdom abroad was launched by the Institute for Public Administration today.
The programmes is aimed at empowering youth and enhancing their role in promoting Bahraini national values and identity on an international scale.
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, Director General of the Institute for Public Administration, said the country's development plans and strategies focused on empowering and investing in Bahraini youth, in line with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
She said this was supported by the innovative youth initiatives and projects led by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs.
Okai Asako, the Japanese Ambassador to Bahrain, and Ahmed Mohammed Al Doseri, the Ambassador of Bahrain to Japan, attended the launch of the programme.
Dr. Shaikha Rana said the programme will include specialised training programme and interactive modules for participants in the Global Ready Talen Programme offered by the Labour Fund (Tamkeen) global practical training programme. The programme supports overseas placement and work opportunities for Bahrainis to help them gain valuable work experience, develop their skills and gain exposure to international work environments.
She announced that participants in the E-Growth training programme in Japan will be the inaugural group in the Global Ready Talent Program. Through collaboration with the Japanese embassy, they will receive specialised training that covers basic Japanese language skills, bilateral Bahrain-Japan relations, international relations, and means of promoting Bahrain's history and culture globally.
