Chief of Arab and African Affairs meets Mauritanian foreign officials

Nouakchott, Feb. 29 (BNA): Ambassador Ahmed Mohammed Al Tarifi, Chief of Arab and African Affairs, met Ambassador Sheikh Sayed Ahmed Mohammed Al Salik, Director of the Arab States League and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Directorate at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mauritania; and Ambassador Omar Mohammed Babou, Director of the Arab World Directorate at the Ministry.

The meeting reviewed Bahraini-Mauritanian relations and ways to develop them in all fields.

The two sides exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest.

They also touched on the importance of coordination and consultation in all terms regarding strengthening joint Arab action, especially with the coincidence of the upcoming presidency of the kingdom of the Council of the Arab States League at the summit level in its 33rd session, and the presidency of Mauritania of the League Council at the ministerial level in its 161st session.
