Education Minister meets Saudi Counterpart

Riyadh, Feb. 29 (BNA): Dr. Mohammad bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Higher Education Council (HEC), met with Dr. Yousef Al Benyan, Minister of Education of Saudi Arabia.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Human Capability Initiative (HCI) conference that was held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.

The two sides discussed the process of drafting a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for education and higher education, aimed at enhancing cooperation in the fields of scientific research, exchange of expertise, and joining of educational institutions.

The minister affirmed the historical longstanding Bahraini-Saudi relations and the advanced cooperation in various sectors, especially in education.
