Kingdom of Bahrain condemns Israeli targeting of Palestinian civilians at Nabulsi Roundabout in Gaza

Manama, Mar. 1 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain has strongly condemned and denounced the Israeli targeting of Palestinian civilians who were attempting to receive humanitarian aid at the Nabulsi Roundabout near Al-Rashid Street in Gaza.
The shooting resulted in the death of dozens and the injury of hundreds, most of whom were children and women, in a clear violation of international law and international humanitarian law.
In a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it reiterated the Kingdom of Bahrain’s call upon the international community, especially the Security Council, to assume its responsibilities of enforcing an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza, to ensure the protection of civilians, the delivery of humanitarian, relief and medical aid to the people of Gaza in a complete, safe and sustainable manner, and to reject any attempt at forced displacement of the residents.
It further emphasised the necessity of reviving the just and comprehensive peace process by ensuring that the Palestinian people obtain their legitimate rights to establish their independent state in accordance with the two-state solution.
