Earthquake measuring 3.2 on Richter scale shakes Al-Shaqa in

Riyadh, June 25, SPA -- An earthquake measuring 3.2 on Richter scale
shook Al-Shaqa in Saudi Arabia, the latest in consecutive quakes that
hit the area over the last few weeks, the National Network for
Seismological Monitoring, an affiliate of the Saudi Geological
Survey, said today adding that tens of minor aftershocks were also
registered during the last 24 hours.

In a statement, the authority said thermal measures, radon gas and
carob-dioxide condensations and ground fractures widening were
reported as of reassuring rates.
However, the statement said the situation will hopefully return to a
state of stability soon.
