HM King receives HH Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, hails Bahrain-UAE relations

Manama, Mar. 2 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received, in the presence of HH Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Personal Representative; HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the Kingt’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) Chairman; and HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, SCYS First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, who is on a visit to the kingdom to attend the F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2024.

HH Abu Dhabi Crown Prince conveyed to HM King Hamad greetings and appreciation from His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler, coupled with their wishes for further progress and prosperity to the kingdom and its people.

HM King Hamad welcomed HH Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and requested him to convey his greetings to HH UAE President and HH UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Dubai Ruler, in addition to HM’s wishes for continued progress to the UAE people.

HM the King expressed pride in the long-standing strong fraternal relations between the two countries’ leaderships and peoples, which are based on solid foundations of fraternity, common visions and joint coordination.

HM the King affirmed that the Bahrain-UAE ties are progressing steadily thanks to their joint keenness to bolster them at all levels.

HM King Hamad lauded the distinguished status enjoyed by the UAE, under the leadership of HH President Mohammed bin Zayed, at the regional and global levels, citing the UAE’s wide-ranging achievements and successes at all levels, in addition to its commendable international initiatives to serve humanity and consolidate the values of coexistence, tolerance and cooperation among peoples.

His Majesty also lauded the efforts being made by HH Abdu Dhabi Crown Prince to enhance the development process witnessed by the UAE in all fields.

HH Shaikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince, expressed pleasure at visiting Bahrain and meeting HM King Hamad.

His Highness expressed thanks and appreciation to HM the King for the warm welcome and hospitality accorded to him, voicing pride in His Majesty’s efforts to further strengthen the robust fraternal relations between the two countries and their peoples.

HH Abu Crown Prince commended Bahrain’s success in organising F1 races, which has consolidated its status and leadership on the global sporting map.
