HM King receives former Spanish Monarch, several guests of Bahrain

Manama, Mar. 2 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received, in the presence of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS) Chairman; and HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, SCYS First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President, His Majesty Juan Carlos, former King of Spain, and a number of the kingdom’s guests, who are on a visit to Bahrain to attend the 20th edition of the F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix.

HM King Hamad welcomed the kingdom’s distinguished guests, and reviewed with them Bahrain’s solid friendship relations with their countries, lauding the steady growth of those ties thanks to joint keenness to constantly strengthen them in all fields.

His Majesty stated that Bahrain is looking forward to enhancing its distinguished relations with their countries to serve common interests.

The guests of Bahrain expressed thanks and appreciation to HM the King for the warm welcome and hospitality accorded to them, commending HM’s efforts to further develop the kingdom’s relations with their countries.
