Indeed, everything I have done over the past period stemmed from the ideas and aspirations of my late father, may Allah the Almighty rest his soul in eternal peace. He was busy serving people, following up on any matter until it was completed."
"After his passing, we agreed with you on the right path we wish for Bahrain. This path is open to the future with all its achievements and successes. We are heading towards it, by building competent cadres, as well as preserving our faith and identity that will preserve us for hundreds of years. We are proud of our Islamic and Arab identity, respect for the other through a policy of coexistence and acceptance of others, as well as in the affection and love among the Bahraini citizens," HM the King also said.
"Our children and youth have learned and become leaders in science and other administrative fields. All that they need is guidance and sound care. Today, we are proud of our constitutional institutions, which are dedicated to serving Bahrain and its people. This is the basis for Bahrain’s success and its future will certainly be great," HM indicated.
Concluding his statement, HM the King said: "Thank you for your presence and kind congratulations, which are not strange to the people of Bahrain. Personally, since my childhood, I have known nothing but love and care in this country. The opinions and advice given to me were all aimed at achieving the best for our country, so I accepted them openheartedly. This is guidance from Allah the Almighty. Mutual advice and listening to each other are important. Anyway, the existing mechanisms serve this purpose, and may Allah the Almighty grant success to our youth and men working in these national mechanisms for everything good for our country. Communication, love and cooperation among brothers and friends are the secrets to preserving our entity. Throughout this period, the people I have met are all thankful for what Bahrain has achieved in various fields. Of course, you know the domestic situation better than they do, and you are aware of the shortcomings. We are committed to addressing them and moving forward."
