UK Ambassador: Pleased to celebrate with Bahrain ‘a great king and a great man’

Manama, Mar. 6 (BNA): Alastair Long, British Ambassador to Bahrain, has congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, on the occasion of the silver jubilee of HM’s Accession.

In a statement to Bahrain News Agency (BNA), Long said "My heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on 25 years of visionary leadership and affection for His Kingdom and people. In the United Kingdom we have similarly been blessed to know wise leadership from Royals whose care for us provides a deep sense of national belonging, pride, and assurance."

"That shared experience between our two Kingdoms is an important part of the close bond we enjoy. We delight in recognising and celebrating with Bahrain a great man and King."
