Saudi Arabia to Distribute Dates, Hold Iftar Banquets during Ramadan in Bulgaria

Sofia, March 10, 2024, SPA -- The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance launched yesterday here the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' gift programs entailing distributing dates and holding Iftar banquets during the month of Ramadan in Bulgaria, in a ceremony attended by Chargé d'Affaires at the Saudi embassy in Bulgaria Nayef bin Assiy, Grand Mufti of Bulgaria Mustafa Hadzhi and several other officials.
Bin Assiy commended the ministry for implementing such programs, in line with the directives of the wise leadership.
Hadzhi said that the gift confirms Saudi Arabia's significant role in serving Islam and Muslims around the world, and prayed to Allah Almighty to protect the Kingdom and its people.
More than 80,000 Muslims will benefit from the three tons of dates that will be distributed.
