KSrelief Launches Ramadan Food Basket Project in Guinea

Conakry, March 10, 2024, SPA -- The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has launched the Etaam food basket project for the year 2024 in Conakry, Republic of Guinea. Present at the event were the Saudi Ambassador, Dr. Fahad bin Eid Al-Rashidi, the Minister of Religious Affairs-designate, Sheikh Ibrahim Osman Bah, Deputy Mayor of Dixinn Municipality in Conakry, and the President of the Guinean Red Cross. Additionally, representatives from various international and local organizations, along with a (KSrelief) team, attended the event.
The project aims to distribute 6,270 food baskets containing essential items to benefit the most needy families during the blessed month of Ramadan in the year 1445 AH.
Ambassador Al-Rashidi highlighted that this aid is part of the relief and humanitarian efforts conducted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through (KSrelief) across affected countries globally. He emphasized the leadership's commitment to supporting the needy and providing assistance.
Minister Sheikh Ibrahim Osman Bah expressed gratitude on behalf of the Republic of Guinea for the support provided by Saudi Arabia in various crucial fields. He conveyed the President's greetings to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince, praising (KSrelief)'s humanitarian efforts, particularly in enhancing food security during Ramadan.
This initiative is a part of Saudi Arabia's relief and humanitarian projects, through (KSrelief), aimed at assisting countries in need and ensuring food security.
