National Guard Commander meets Pakistan Chief of Air Staff

Islamabad, Mar. 15 (BNA): General His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, National Guard Commander, met with Air Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu, the Chief of Air Staff of the Pakistan Air Force, at the Command Headquarters in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad. The meeting took place on the sidelines of His Highness's official visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to participate in the celebrations of Pakistan Day, which falls on March 23.

The Pakistani Air Force Chief welcomed the visit of His Highness the commander of the National Guard to Pakistan, as part of efforts to strengthen military relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

His Highness the Commander of the National Guard praised the advanced levels of military cooperation and exchange between the two countries, highlighting the role played by the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, represented by the Pakistani Army, in maintaining regional and global security and stability.

The meeting discussed topics of common interest aimed at enhancing cooperation on all fronts, especially those related to the military aspect.
