Delegation of Russian Ministry of Culture Arrives Here

Pyongyang, March 19 (KCNA) -- A delegation of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation arrived here on Monday to visit the DPRK at the invitation of the DPRK Ministry of Culture on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the conclusion of the DPRK-Russia agreement on economic and cultural cooperation.
The delegation headed by Vice-Minister Andrei Maluishev includes an art troupe of the Maritime Territory Branch of the Mariinsky Theatre.
It was greeted at Pyongyang International Airport by Pak Kyong Chol, vice-minister of Culture of the DPRK, officials concerned and Minister-Councilor Vladimir Topeha and members of the Russian embassy in Pyongyang.
The head of the delegation was presented with a bouquet by a woman artiste.
The DPRK Ministry of Culture hosted a reception at Yanggakdo International Hotel in the evening in welcome of the Russian art missions. -0-
