KSrelief Delivers 50 Tons of Dates as Saudi Arabia's Gift to Maldives

Male, March 23, 2024, SPA -- The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) delivered a gift from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Maldives on Friday, consisting of 50 tons of dates. The Saudi Ambassador to the Maldives, Matrek Abdullah Al-Ajalin, on behalf of KSrelief, handed over the aid in the presence of the Minister of Islamic Affairs in the Republic of Maldives, Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed, and a team from the center. The delivery took place at the Kingdom's embassy in the capital, Male. Ambassador Al-Ajalin commended the humanitarian and relief efforts provided by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, which has extended its support to 98 countries worldwide. He also emphasized that these efforts reflect the wise leadership's keenness to stand with all countries and people and to provide various forms of humanitarian assistance to them. Moreover, Dr. Saeed expressed his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince for the gift presented to his country, highlighting that this reflects the depth of the strong relationship between the two countries. This gift is part of the programs provided by the Saudi government to several countries, aiming to reach the neediest families in different regions around the world.
