HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister receives the newly appointed Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Bahrain

Manama, Mar. 27 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received the newly appointed Ambassador of Japan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Her Excellency Okai Asako, at Riffa Palace.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad reaffirmed the longstanding Bahrain-Japan relations, which have grown over the years through robust multisector collaboration and strategic partnership.

His Royal Highness highlighted the Kingdom’s commitment to furthering bilateral relations and coordination to meet mutual aspirations.

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad welcomed HE Asako to the Kingdom and wished her success in performing her diplomatic duties.

During the meeting, regional and global developments and issues of common interest were discussed.

For her part, Ambassador HE Asako expressed her gratitude for His Royal Highness’s commitment to furthering Bahrain-Japan relations and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.

His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Finance and National Economy, His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
