Foreign Minister holds call with Pakistani counterpart

Manama, Mar. 27 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Foreign Affairs Minister, today held a telephone call with Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Pakistan’s new Foreign Affairs Minister.

The Foreign Affairs Minister congratulated his Pakistani counterpart on his appointment to his post, affirming the depth of the long-standing solid relations between the two countries, which are growing steadily thanks to the keenness of their leaderships to develop them across various fields to achieve common interests.

Dr. Al Zayani wished Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar every success in carrying out his duties.

The two ministers discussed ways to strengthen the two countries’ friendship and cooperation relations in all fields of mutual interest.

They also reviewed the latest regional and global issues, as well as their impact on regional security and stability.
