One killed, three wounded as gunman opens fire at Yemen market
BAIDHA'A, June 26 (Saba) - One person has died and at least three
others were wounded when a gunman opened fire randomly at a market
in Yemen's central province of Baidha'a.
Eyewitnesses said a hand fight between people from two tribes in the
area turned into a big battle, with a gunman from one of the
tribes opening fire on the people of the foe tribe killing one of
them and injuring three others.
One of the wounded was shot into his head and is still in critical
condition.
Among the injured was a woman who was passing at the market.
The incident took place at one of the markets at the district of
al-Zahir- Al-Humaikan.
Other sources said that security forces are still surrounding the
suspect shooter's house, with speculations that the suspect could
escape.
