Qatar-UAE Super Cup Enriches Football in GCC Region, Says Sharjah Coach

Doha, April 11 (QNA) - Sharjah coach Olario Cosmin said his side were ready to win tomorrow's Qatar-UAE Super Cup clash against Al Arabi SC at Al Thumama Stadium.
Addressing a pre-match press conference, the 54-year-old added that he is happy to be in the State of Qatar and participate in this competition that contributes to the enrichment and development of football in the Gulf region.
The former Al Sadd SC manager hailed Al Arabi SC as an important team that has many distinguished players. He added that his previous games against Al Arabi when as Al Sadd boss were highly important and distinguished.
The kick-off of the inaugural edition of the tournament that was launched in January is at 7pm.
The Super Cup champions will receive USD 800,000, while the runners-up will get USD 400,000. (QNA)
