AZERBAIJANI DELEGATION TO ATTEND 3RD CONGRESS OF TURKISH WORLD MATHEMATICIANS
Almaty, June 27 (AzerTAc). An Azerbaijani delegation will attend the third congress of Turkish World Mathematicians to be held here on July 1-4 at the Kazakh National University.
The event will bring together more than 600 delegates from scientific and research Institutes and higher schools of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, as well as Iran, USA, Belarus and Russia.
The event is due to discuss the achievements in the field of developing of mathematics, ways of applying the information technologies in scientific and research works, boosting of cooperation in deepening of international relations and other issues.
The Mathematics Society of Turkish World was established in 1999 and contains mathematicians from Turkey, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Russia, Iran, China, Mongolia, USA and Europe.
The 1st and 2nd Congress of Turkish world mathematicians were held in 1999 at Firat University (Elazig, Turkey) and in 2007 at Sakarya University (Adapazari, Turkey) respectively.
