Tracking six foreigners kidnappers in Sa'ada ongoing

SA'ADA, June 27 (Saba) - Security Committee in Sa'ada has approved several important
procedures to activate the process of tracking down kidnappers of the six
foreigners.

A source at the Interior Ministry said that the committee asked different security
authorities to face all kinds of outlaw acts to achieve the stability and security
in the province .

The source said that security authorities are exerting efforts to release the six
foreigners.

Three Germans and a Korean woman were killed out of nine foreigners who were
kidnapped this June.

This is the fifth abduction operation against foreigners in the country in 2009.

More than 300 foreigners have been kidnapped in Yemen since 1991. Almost all were
released unharmed after mediation involving tribal leaders.
