Parliament speaker meets Cuban ambassador

SANA'A, June 27 (Saba) - Parliament Speaker Yahya al-Rae'i met here on Saturday with
the Cuban ambassador to Yemen Buenaventura Reyes Acosta.

Al-Rae'i praised the current relations between Yemen and Cuba, confirming the
importance of promoting them. He called on Cuba for activating the agreements signed
between the two friendly countries.

Al-Rae'i noted the necessity of expanding the cooperation ties in fields of
fisheries, agriculture and the other developmental areas including the parliamentary
work.

For his part, Acosta voiced his appreciation for the level of the current relations
between Yemen and Cuba and the support given to him to carry out his duties.

The Cuban ambassador indicated that the bilateral ties between the two countries
will witness growing and prosperity.

The meeting reviewed a number of topics of common concerns.
