Friendship Gathering between DPRK, Russian Youths

Pyongyang, April 28 (KCNA) -- A DPRK-Russia youth friendship gathering took place in Vladivostok of Russia on April 26 to mark the fifth anniversary of the meeting between Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), and Vladimir Putin, president of the Russian Federation.
Present there were members of the DPRK youth friendship delegation led by Kim Song Il, vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, the DPRK consul general to Vladivostok and staff members of his mission and personages of the Legislative Assembly of the Maritime Territory of the Russian Federation, the International Cooperation Bureau of the Maritime Territory Administration and the coordinating council of the United Russia Youth Guards and masses.
Speeches were made at the gathering.
The head of the DPRK youth friendship delegation and the DPRK consul general mentioned the undying feats President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il performed for the development of the DPRK-Russia friendly relations. And they stressed that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's first visit to Russia in April 2019 marked a turning point in further developing the relations between the two countries as required by the new era.
They said that the youths of the two countries should strengthen comradely unity and cooperation and revitalize multi-faceted exchanges and visits in the journey for comprehensively implementing the agreements reached at the historic summit, true to the noble intention of the leaders of the two countries.
The chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Maritime Territory of the Russian Federation and the chairman of the Coordinating Council of the United Russia Youth Guards said that the Russia-DPRK summit in Vladivostok five years ago was an event of epochal significance and registered a new chapter for the development of the bilateral relations.
They stressed that Russia has a genuine friendly country like the DPRK and today's gathering is of very important character in this sense and that Russia would always be with the DPRK in the struggle for building a just new world. And they expressed the will to actively realize exchanges and cooperation in the youth and children's work and all other fields in the spirit of the agreement reached at the DPRK-Russia summit. -0-
