Many Winners of Model Worker Honor Prize Produced in DPRK

Pyongyang, April 30 (KCNA) -- The life and pride of the patriotic working people who cherish it as their noble duty to work faithfully at their workplaces and posts without being ambitious of distinction and reward are shining with the precious call of model worker honor prize winners.
This year alone, many workers have been awarded the model worker honor prize.
A worker of the steel workshop of the Chollima Steel Complex has fulfilled the yearly national economic plan every year, working as a smelter for over 30 years.
Workers of the urea workshop and raw materials workshop of the Hungnam Fertilizer Complex have played a role in developing the distributed control system in cooperation with researchers of the State Academy of Sciences and made devoted efforts to ensure normal operation of equipment.
Among the model worker honor prize winners are the coal miners of pit No.3 of the Ryongmun Coal Mine and pit No.2 of the Ryongdung Coal Mine.
Workers of the South Phyongan provincial management bureau for regional construction and building-materials production and the Sariwon Condiments Factory conducted a dynamic technological innovation movement to contribute to ensuring the local production of finishing building materials and the quality of foodstuffs.
Working as a primary official of the trade union, a woman worker of the Sinuiju Textile Mill encouraged her members to take part in various good-conduct movements, thus contributing to the country’s economic life and putting production on a normal footing.
A woman worker, who has worked at the Jongju Vaccine Factory for over 30 years, has over-fulfilled her national economic plan every year and trained many skilled workers.
Working people, who devoted themselves to society and the collective by taking warm care of the children of baby homes and orphanages with a resolve to uphold the Party's childcare policy with practice and contributing to bolstering up the national defence capability, have been awarded the prize. -0-
