Founding Anniversary of Mangyongdae Car Station Marked

Pyongyang, May 1 (KCNA) -- A meeting was held at the Mangyongdae Car Station on April 29 to convey a congratulatory message of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) Central Committee to the employees and officials of the station on its 60th founding anniversary.
Present there were Ri Il Hwan, secretary of the WPK Central Committee, and officials and employees of the station.
Ri Il Hwan read out the congratulatory message of the WPK Central Committee to the employees and officials of the Mangyongdae Car Station.
The message noted that the station, associated with meticulous care and sacred guidance of the peerlessly great men, is the country's reliable external service center.
The station, whose history is run through with love and loyalty, trust and repayment, has creditably discharged its duty decade after decade, it said. 
The station has established a positive and scientific management method and ensured the continuity of the history of loyalty by always fulfilling the tasks given by the Party in the spirit of self-reliance and fortitude, the message said, highly appreciating the successes achieved by the station in the painstaking struggle to secure its own strong repair base and produce equipment and accessories with locally available materials through collective technological innovation.
The message expressed firm belief that the employees and officials of the station would give steady continuity to the history and tradition of having defended the major post, entrusted to them by the country and revolution, in a responsible manner at present when the country's international prestige and influence are growing stronger.
