Yemen Academic Organization in Germany to support cancer centers

ADEN, June 28 (Saba) - Aden Local Council General Secretary
Abdul-Karim Shaif has met with a delegation of the Yemen Academic
Organization in Germany, chaired by Abdul-Majed al-Yahri, and talked
with him over establishment of a children cancer center in Aden.

The two sides reviewed means of strengthening cooperation between
the Organization and Local Authority in Aden to combat this
dangerous disease which has spread lately significantly.

Shaif affirmed that the Local Authority and governorate's leadership
in the province will work on the success of organization's target in
the field of training medical cadres aiming to find a suitable
solution to combat this disease among infected children.

At the meeting, al-Yahri talked of the current coordination between
the organization and the Ministry of Public Health and Population to
establish four cancer centers in Sana'a, Aden, Taiz and Ibb such as
those in Egypt.

The support to establish the four caner centers in Yemen will
support in different areas, University officials in international
assembly for combating children nephritic caner in Yemen
Administration said.
