Yemen announces all H1N1-infected cases recovered
SANA'A, June 28 (Saba) - All the six Swine Flue-infected persons
have recovered and returned to their live normally, Health Ministry
announced on Sunday.
Director of Combating Diseases and Epidemiological Monitoring at the
Ministry Abdul Hakim al-Kohlani said the sixth Swine Flue-infected
case is cured after finalizing medical treatment.
The recovered case was a Yemeni girl holding the British
nationality. Its infection was discovered in the airport as coming
from London.
He demonstrated that there are no more infected cases discovered
among the arrival passengers were onboard the same flight with the
girl, nor among the girl's relatives due to the adherence to the
isolation measures and the health instructions in such cases.
Health Ministry announced the first confirmed H1N1-infected case in
Yemen on June 16, followed by four infected cases on June 17.
The five infections of Swine Flu are among the same group of 32
students coming from training course in the United Sates earlier in
the current June.
The sixth case is a Yemeni girl, aged 11, from Dalei province
holding the British nationality. She arrived in Sana'a on June 22,
coming from the United Kingdom.
In June 23, the Ministry announced finding one more swine flu case,
raising the number of infected cases in Yemen to six.
