Visit Visa Holders Not Permitted to Engage in Hajj Rituals, General Directorate of Public Security Warns

Riyadh, May 30, 2024, SPA -- The General Directorate of Public Security has clarified that visit visas, regardless of their type or designation, do not permit the holders to engage in Hajj rituals. It has advised all visitors with visit visas to avoid travelling to or staying in Makkah between the dates 15/11/1445 AH and 15/12/1445 AH.
The directorate reported that over 20,000 visitors with visit visas have been found in violation of Hajj regulations, which prohibit them from staying in Makkah.
It is emphasized that anyone violating these regulations will face penalties per the Kingdom's laws and instructions. These measures are in place to ensure the safety of individuals with permits for Hajj and enable them to perform their rituals in a secure and peaceful environment.
