AZERBAIJANI MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND ENERGY MEETS HIS EGYPTIAN COUNTERPART
Baku, 29 June (AzerTAc). Visiting Cairo, Azerbaijani minister of industry and energy Natig Aliyev has met Egyptian petroleum minister Sameh Fahmi to discuss prospects of oil and gas cooperation between the two countries.
The two ministers noted an official visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Egypt in May, 2007 made a great contribution to bilateral relations.
The sides also agreed a visit by Egyptian specialists to Azerbaijan in the near future to study oil and gas potential of Azerbaijan.
On June 29-30, Natig Aliyev will attend the second session of Preparatory Commission of the International Renewable Energy Agency in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt.
