KSrelief Implements Noor Saudi Arabia's Voluntary Program to Combat Blindness in Herat, Afghanistan

Herat, June 03, 2024, SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) started on May 29 the Noor Saudi Volunteer Program, working to combat blindness and its causes, in the Herat province, Afghanistan.
The program will run until June 4, and is carried out in collaboration with Albasar International Foundation.
Since the program began, the KSrelief medical volunteer team has examined 7,242 patients and performed 621 successful surgeries.
This initiative is part of KSrelief's humanitarian and relief efforts to support the medical sector and provide assistance to low-income patients with eye diseases in several countries.
