ASTANA HOSTS 22ND MEETING OF CIS MEMBER STATES` CONSULTATIVE COUNCIL ON LABOUR, MIGRATION AND SOCIAL PROTECTION OF POPULATION
Baku, June 29 (AzerTAc). The 22nd meeting of the Consultative Council on Labor, Migration and Social Protection of the Population of the CIS member States was held in Astana, Kazakhstan.
The event brought together delegates from Azerbaijan, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Tajikistan and Armenia and representatives of CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly.
The participants discussed a number of issues including protection of labor, migration and employment-related issues and drew up a plan for a concept of social and demographic policy in the CIS countries.
The Consultative Council on Labor, Migration and Social Protection of the Population of the CIS member States was set up in 1992.
