NISA SUMMER SESSION KICKS OFF IN BAKU

Baku, June 29 (AzerTAc). Regular summer session of NATO International School of Azerbaijan (NISA) started here on Monday.
The event focuses on a number of questions including maritime and seaport security, innovations in international security and fight against piracy.
The session brings together students from foreign countries, journalists, officials, NGOs representatives and others.
Opening the event, NISA Executive Director Mikayil Yusifov said the Organization contributes to making the world community known about the Azerbaijani realities.
Attending the session, Romanian ambassador to Azerbaijan Nikolae Ureke said Azerbaijan actively participates in NATO-led peacekeeping operations.
He also praised the role of Azerbaijan in ensuring peace in region.
NISA has organized 10 sessions on various subjects since 2003 bringing together about 450 representatives from 42 countries.
