Foreign Ministry Welcomes Slovenian Parliament's Ratification of the Governmental Decision to Recognize the State of Palestine

Riyadh, June 05, 2024, SPA -- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs disclosed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia welcomes the ratification by the Parliament of the Republic of Slovenia of the government's decision to recognize the State of Palestine.
The Kingdom reiterates its call to the international community, particularly the permanent members of the Security Council, to take positive steps in recognition of the Palestinian people's right to establish an independent state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, adding that the Republic of Slovenia's decision, which affirms the international community's consensus, is appreciated.
