MWL Welcomes Slovenia Parliament's Ratification of Decision to Recognize State of Palestine

Makkah, June 05, 2024, SPA -- The Muslim World League (MWL) welcomed Slovenia's Parliament ratifying the government's decision to recognize the State of Palestine.
MWL Secretary-General and chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa confirmed that this decision, along with similar ones, reflects a significant shift in international awareness regarding the rights of the Palestinian people.
He praised the responsible and noble position of the countries that have taken this important step and called on others to do the same in support of the Palestinian people's right to establish an independent state.
