Algiers, June 29 , SPA -- The first session of the Council of Arab
Water Ministers was held here today.
In the opening speech, Algerian Minister of Water Resources
Abdelmalek Sellal stressed the importance of establishing the Council
of Arab Water Ministers to meet the challenges posed by the reality
of water in the Arab States.
The session focuses on issues relating to Arab cooperation in the
