Backed by KSrelief, Dialysis Center of Mogadishu’s Banadir Hospital Serves 348 Patients in June

Mogadishu, July 14, 2024, SPA -- The kidney dialysis center at Banadir Hospital in Mogadishu, supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), continues to serve patients. In June, the center catered to a total of 348 patients. Among them, 163 dialysis patients underwent 1,051 scheduled sessions and 12 emergency sessions, while 177 patients received medical examinations and tests at the kidney diseases clinic.
During this period, male patients accounted for 62% of the total, while female patients represented 38%. Displaced individuals constituted 2% of the patient population, with residents making up the remaining 98%.
These efforts are part of the relief assistance provided by Saudi Arabia through KSrelief, aiming to enhance the healthcare sector and alleviate the suffering of the Somali people.
