US approves $ 10 mln as additional aid to Yemen
WASHINGTON, June 30 (Saba) - US Congress approved on Tuesday for the
first time an additional aid law to Yemen for 2009.
Yemen receives US $ 10 million to be added to the US aid offered to
the development process in the country.
The aid comes to support the government's efforts in developing the
sectors of education and health.
It is worth mentioning that the sum raises the US aid offered to
support the Yemeni development process during 2009 to around US $ 34
million.
The additional aid of $ 10 million was recommended by US Government.
