Saleh consoles Comorian president over crash victims

SANAA, June 30 ( Saba )- President Ali Abdullah Selah sent on
Tuesday a letter of consolation to his Comorian counterpart Ahmad
Abdullah Sambi over the victims of the Yemenia airliner crash.

Early on Tuesday, a Yemeni airplane of those run by the National
Yemenia Airlines, crashed into the Indian Ocean near the Republic of
Comoros. It was carrying 153 passengers including three infants and
a crew of 11.

Initial reports have blamed the accident on bad weather when the
jetliner crashed near the port of Moroni, the capital of the Comoros
Archipelago.
