King Abdulaziz International Quran Competition Unveils Guide for Participants

Makkah, August 10, 2024, SPA --The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, through its General Secretariat of the Local and International Quran Contest, has released a comprehensive guide for the 44th King Abdulaziz International Competition for the Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation of the Holy Quran. Held annually at the Grand Mosque in Makkah, this event attracts talented Quran reciters from across the globe. This year, a record-breaking 174 contestants representing 123 countries will vie for recognition in their devotion to the Holy Quran.
The newly released guide serves as a valuable resource for participants, offering a detailed breakdown of the competition's various aspects. It delves into the competition's overall objectives, providing insight into its role in promoting the memorization, recitation, and profound understanding of the Quran.
