PM heads meeting for Fund of Reconstructing Hadramout & Maharah

SAYON, July 01 (Saba)- In its extraordinary meeting, the board of
Fund for Reconstructing Hadramout and Maharah Governorates headed by
the Prime Minister Ali Mujawar affirmed importance of prioritizing
needs of reconstruction in the top of which is a need to continue
works to rebuild partial or completed damaged houses.

The board asked the executive body of the fund to determine a
deadline for carrying out works of the reconstruction for regions in
the two governorates which were affected by flooding in October of
2008.

It also asked governors of Hadramout and Maharah to find solution
for lands allocated for rebuilding within one week and present a map
for the locations of these lands.

Moreover, the board ordered to pay compensation for people who their
houses damaged partial.

The board authorized minister of public works and roads to
coordinate with Emirates side over determining designs to build
houses for the affected people within the contribution of the UAE to
rebuild the regions.

Meanwhile, the board listened to a report of the executive body over
achievements since one month ago, calling on the local councils in
both governorates to bring efforts of the rebuilding into success.
