AZERBAIJAN PRESIDENT ILHAM ALIYEV RECEIVES GREEK FM, OSCE CHAIRPERSON IN OFFICE DORA BAKOYANNIS
Baku, July 2 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev has today received Greek Foreign Minister, OSCE Chairperson in Office Dora Bakoyannis.
During the conversation, Dora Bakoyannis conveyed Polish President Karolos Papoulias` and Premier Kostas Karamanlis` greetings to the Azerbaijani leader.
The Azerbaijani President and the Greek FM expressed satisfaction at the development of relations between the two countries in various fields, particularly in the political and economic ones.
They stressed the role of reciprocal visits in contributing to enhancing the bilateral relations.
President Ilham Aliyev asked Dora Bakoyannis to extend his greetings to the Polish leader and Prime Minister.
Later on, the meeting was continued in an extended format to discuss prospects of the Azerbaijan-OSCE cooperation and current state of peace talks to resolve the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh.
