POLISH PRESIDENT MEETS SPEAKER OF AZERBAIJANI PARLIAMENT

Baku, July 3 (AzerTAc). President of Poland Lech Kaczynski today has met here with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Parliament Ogtay Asadov.
Asadov congratulated the Polish leader on being awarded with the Heydar Aliyev Order, the highest state award of Azerbaijan, for his services in developing friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries.
The Azerbaijani Speaker praised current state of bilateral relations, adding “there are great potential for further enhancement of cooperation in all fields.”
He stressed that heads of states are playing special role in developing relations.
Expressing satisfaction with his visit to Baku, Kaczynski said Azerbaijani-Polish friendship ties have deep roots. The polish leader noted he will spare no efforts to further boost the bilateral relations.
Touching upon Azerbaijan`s “important role” in Europe`s energy security, Kaczynski praised the achievements the official Baku has attained in last years. He said “all these achievements are results of right policy pursued by the Azerbaijani government.
The Polish president also praised role of parliaments in advancing the bilateral ties.
