PRESIDENT OF HEYDAR ALIYEV FOUNDATION MEETS WITH FAMOUS RUSSIAN WRITER
Baku, July 3 (AzerTac). President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, UNESCO and ISESCO goodwill ambassador, MP, Mehriban Aliyeva has met here today with renowned Russian researcher and writer Rudolf Ivanov and his spouse Yekaterina.
Mehriban Aliyeva congratulated writer Ivanov, famous for his books about Azerbaijan`s servicemen, on his being awarded a “Dostlug” (Friedship) order in accordance with the presidential executive order.
Mehriban Aliyeva noted writer`s creative work is the contribution to Azerbaijan-Russia cultural ties.
President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation wished writer every success in his creative work.
Ivanov thanked President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation for assistance in publishing writer`s books.
Mehriban Aliyeva had her picture taken together with the writer and his spouse.
