Minister offers Yemen consolation to France

PARIS, July 03 (Saba) - Minister of Transport Khalid al-Wazeer
offered Friday Yemen's condolences to France for the victims of the
Yemenia flight IY 626 which crashed into the Indian Ocean this week.

Al-Wazeer met with economic advisor to French President Claude
Guéant after he flew to France early today.

The meeting highlighted the bilateral effort to probe the crash of
the Yemeni jetliner off Comoros on Tuesday Morning.

Al-Wazeer also met with chairman of the French Aviation Authority
and senior officials at the French Transport Authorities. The
meeting discussed the crash as well as search for the airliner's
wreckage and investigations into the disaster.

Most of the passengers who were aboard the airplane were French
nationals. Comorian people and other nationals were onboard it as
well.

Only a French teen could survive the accident, initially blamed on
bad weather. She is 14-year-old.
