Comorian President asks continuation of Yemenia flights to Moroni
SANA'A, July 05 (Saba) - President of Comoros Ahmad Abdullah Sambi asked President
Ali Abdullah Saleh on Sunday for continuing Yemenia Airways' flights to the Comorian
capital, Moroni, as it is the sole air carrier to Comoros.
The request comes in a letter from President Sambi to President Ali Abdullah Saleh
handed over by Comorian Minister of Foreign Relations Ahmad Saeed Jafar.
The letter dealt with the last developments of the Yemeni airplane crashed off
Comoros' coastlines last Tuesday.
The Comorian president expressed his personal consolation to Saleh and Yemeni people
on the victims of the Yemenia airplane crash accident.
He affirmed his country's keenness on boosting the brotherly relations between the
two brotherly countries and peoples, confirming that the airplane accident will
never affect the two countries' ties and joint cooperation.
President Saleh renewed his consolation to the Comorian President and people for the
victims of the Yemenia airplane crash, affirming the strength of the brotherly ties
between the two countries and the keenness on developing them to serve the common
interests of the two brotherly people in Yemen and Comoros.
Saleh asked the Comorian Minister to convey a replay letter to the Comorian
President, washing him good health and happiness and for the Comorian people further
progress and prosperity.
