Rebellion in Saada caused YR 150bln losses

SANA'A, July 05 (Saba)-Governor of Saada Hassan Mana'a said on Sunday that the Saada
governorate lost around Yr 150 billion because of the rebellion.

In a meeting in Majaz district, the governor said the rebellion prevented the
government for various development and services projects in addition to reduction of
the economic and tourist movement which impacted negatively on the daily life of the
citizens.

He said that the state was and still extends hand of peace for these outlaw elements
and rebels of al-Hothi who are still making checkpoints in the roads.

The governor said that the rebels did not commit with any agreement, reviewing
efforts of the state to achieve peace and development.

He called on all citizens to stand again the rebels and their criminal acts that
impact on citizens of the governorate negatively.

In the meeting, the condition of Majaz district and issued of its citizens were
discussed.

The meeting affirmed the important role of the local council to follow up the
projects, urging for doubling efforts to improve the performance of the executive
offices.
